Jacksonville Fire Reaches 690 Acres, Now 60% Contained, Mandatory Evacuations Lifted

Jamestown, CA…The Jacksonville Fire scorched 690 acres yesterday and kept firefighters busy slowing it’s progress and protecting structures The mandatory evacuations have been lifted but some lingering road closures persist at Algerine at Wards Ferry and Lime Kiln at Wards Ferry. Let’s hope they can get through the hot temps of today without it flaring back up again.
