Paving on SR-16 from SR-49 to the Sacramento/Amador County Line

Amador County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform one-way traffic control on eastbound and westbound State Route 16 (SR-16) from SR-49 to the Sacramento/Amador County line for paving operations. Work will begin Monday, August 21, 2017, through Friday, August 25, 2017, from 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Motorists should expect 15 minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.

This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment and/or materials and construction related issues.

This is part of the $2.05 million paving project being performed by Telfer Pavement Technologies, and it will repave nine miles of highway from the Sacramento/Amador County line to the SR-16/SR-49 junction, north of Drytown.
