San Andreas, CA…The Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office would like to announce that Sergeant Rachelle Whiting is taking over the Public Information Officer (PIO) responsibilities from Sergeant Anthony Eberhardt who has served as the department PIO for the past three years. Sergeant Whiting will now be the primary point of contact to cooperate with authorized news media representatives and to furnish sheriff’s office related information regarding significant incidents, events, and breaking news stories.
