Copperopolis, CA…On 8/31/2017 Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office Marine Safety Unit responded to Lake Tulloch for a report of four stolen boats. 3 of the 4 stolen boats were recovered. These boats had been taken, stripped of valuables and left floating on the lake. The one boat that is still unrecovered is a White 2006 North River fishing boat CF # 0577RL. If anyone has information as to the whereabouts of this boat or information in regards to the thefts, please contact the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office at (209) 754-6500.

The Sheriff’s Office is also asking for anyone who may have witnessed these incidents or that may have video surveillance footage in the area from the evening on 8-30-17 to the morning of 8-31-17.

This is still an ongoing investigation.
