Tuolumne, CA…A traffic stop for a brake light out leads to a drug sales arrest. On Saturday just after 1:00AM, Deputy Speer stopped a silver Hyundai sedan in Tuolumne City for having a brake light out. The driver, 46-year-old Dale Biehle of Sonora is on searchable probation and was driving the car with a suspended driver’s license. Deputy V. Lee arrived on scene to assist Deputy Speer with the search of the vehicle.
Deputy V. Lee watched as Biehle dropped a plastic bag on the ground and then stepped on that same bag in an attempt to conceal it. Deputy Speer retrieved the bag which contained nearly an ounce (28.35 grams) of methamphetamine. Biehle also had several hundred dollars in cash in his possession. Biehle was arrested and booked into the county jail for possession of methamphetamine for sale, attempting to conceal/destroy evidence, and for driving on a suspended driver’s license.
