September 14, 2017– Calaveras Uncorked with Brett Keller of Mineral Winery – Thursday from 6-7:30pm at The Historic Murphys Hotel Mark Twain Ballroom – Brett will will present a six-year vertical tasting of Meritage, wines blended from the famed Bordeaux regional varietals that are grown all around Calaveras County. Impacts of climate, soils and other viticultural factors will be discussed, as will the history and character of each of the grapes in each blend. Space is limited – visit www.calaveraswines.org

September 15, 2017 – Party in the Park – Another “Party in the Park!” is being planned for Friday evening starting at 5:00 pm, the event will include a no-host beer and wine bar, a gourmet catered meal and a concert with the talented and popular Magnolia Rhythm Trio. The show includes vintage motorycles, trailers and wooden boats as well as both restored and original automobiles. The 2017 event will also feature Plein Air Painters scattered throughout the beautiful grounds of Ironstone. Each artist will capture on canvas the ambiance and landscape, as well as the classic cars on display. Additional activities throughout the weekend include “Dinner Under the Stars”, the Patron’s Tent, and Saturday afternoon live auction. Dinner Under the Stars is held on Friday evening, September 22.
