ALPINE COUNTY — The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will be performing various road construction work on State Route 88 (SR-88) from the Amador/Alpine County line to the California/Nevada state line. Work will occur as follows: One-way traffic control on eastbound and westbound SR-88 from the Amador/Alpine County line to the California/Nevada state line on Wednesday, September 13, 2017, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for striping; One-way traffic control on eastbound and westbound SR-88 from Schneider Cow Camp Road to Woods Lake Road beginning Monday, September 11, 2017, until Friday, September 15, 2017, for drainage work.

Motorists should expect 5-10 minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.
Work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment and/or materials, and construction related issues.
