Sonora, CA…From the Tuolumne Sheriff’s Dept..”On Monday morning around 3 AM, Deputies were dispatched to a report of a suspicious circumstance at the AM/PM on Mono Way in Sonora. An anonymous caller reported he overheard subjects planning a drug deal that was to take place near the business sometime within the hour.

While units were conducting surveillance, 24-year-old Mark Hyder of Twain Harte was seen loitering near the front entrance of Tractor Supply near the AM/PM. Hyder is on probation and was searched by deputies. A loaded hypodermic syringe containing methamphetamine, a digital scale covered with white residue, and other misc. items were found scattered on the ground near the front entrance where Hyder was loitering.

Hyder was arrested and booked on charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and concealing evidence.
