Objectives:
Firefighter and public safety.
Use minimum impact suppression tactics (MIST) by utilizing trails, ridges and natural barriers for firelines.
Protect California Spotted Owl Protected Activity Center (PAC) in the fire area.

Planned activity for today: Crews are monitoring the fire and scouting out firelines on the northeast side of the fire connecting roads, trails and natural features. As favorable weather allows, firefighters will use a low intensity backing fire to remove fuels from the fire’s edge to the fireline.

Weather Outlook: Gusty ridge winds are possible today which could increase fire behavior. Over the next few days, mild temperatures and drier conditions are predicted. Mid-week a storm system is forecast to come through bringing cooler temperatures.

Soft Closures:
Road intersections: 3N29/3N26, 3N01/3N16, 3N29/3N21
