CALAVERAS COUNTY — The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will be performing various road construction work on State Route 4 (SR-4) from Northwood Drive to the Calaveras Big Trees State Park entrance. Work will occur as follows:

One-way traffic control on eastbound and westbound SR-4 from Northwood Drive to Darby Russell Road, beginning Monday, September 25, 2017, until Friday, September 29, 2017, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for drainage work.

One-way traffic control on eastbound and westbound SR-4 from Lakemont Drive to the Arnold Byway, beginning Monday, September 25, 2017, until Friday, September 29, 2017, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for drainage work.

One-way traffic control on eastbound and westbound SR-4 from Upper Moran Road to the Calaveras Big Trees State Park entrance, beginning Monday, September 25, 2017, until Friday, September 29, 2017, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. for drainage work.

Motorists should expect 10 minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.
Work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment and/or materials, and construction related issues.
