Lillian Marie Cohan 1920 – 2017

Murphys, CA…Lillian (Grama Tiny) Marie Cohan 8/4/20-9/28/2017. She had one Daughter; Connie ,three Grandchildren; Danny, Kelly (Tim), Timmy (Tonya), eight Great Grandchildren; Jeni (Jon), Shane (Marisa), Cody, Dusty (Erica), Bryan, Tyler (Heather), Josh, Kacy, eight Great-Great Grandchildren; Haleigh, Madyson, Addie, Xander, Charlie-Lou, Modoc, Stoic, Braylon. She was born in Pennsylvania, moved to California in 1947. She was a Welder during World War II, she built glider planes. She lived for her Grandchildren and bingo. She was always fair and made sure that her family knew she had no favorites, she loved all of them equally. She enjoyed playing games with her Grandchildren and taught them checkers and other games. She impressed that there are winners and losers and how to be a good sport. She taught her three Grandchildren how to tell time, fold paper yo-yo planes and pan for gold.

She enjoyed her social time and her great friends. She hosted card games at her house every week and enjoyed going to the senior center and playing bingo. She joined line dancing classes and kept yourself busy and active. She walked 30 minutes every day. She enjoyed her yardwork and kept an immaculate house. She took pride in her home and it was very important for her growing up in the depression to conserve water and reuse all the things that could be reused, recycled and repurposed. She paid her debts with pies. She was loved by all she met. She was very strong woman and set a great example to the family. She was preceded in death by her Husband Paul.
