Arrests Made After Probation Check in Jamestown

Jamestown, CA…While attempting to locate a probationer on Monday afternoon, the High Risk Supervision Team ended up finding more than they expected. As the High Risk Supervision Team attempted to locate a probationer at a home on Golden Dove Lane in Jamestown they encountered 29-year-old Dustin Stevens, 30-year-old Ashley Leal and 38-year-old Gina Cook at the residence. A search was conducted and Stevens was found to be in possession of approximately 4 grams of methamphetamine and 8 small baggies of heroin. Cook was also in possession of heroin and a records check revealed she was wanted on two felony warrants for violating Post Release Community Supervision out of Calaveras County.

Additionally both women were in possession of drug paraphernalia. A stolen motorcycle was discovered on the property and was recovered by the California Highway Patrol.

All three were arrested and transported to jail. Stevens was booked for drug possession for sales, Leal for possession of drug paraphernalia, and Cook for drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia and her warrants.
The investigation is ongoing regarding the stolen motorcycle.
