San Andreas, CA…We had the honor to be one of the Judges at the Annual Stone Soup festivities at the Government Center. This day and fundraiser for the local food bank was originally promoted by the late Chief Probation Officer Michael Kriletich and former CAO Jennie Boyce. It’s goals were to enhance the community spirit and involvement for the county employees and the county as a whole. It has grown into a wonderful institution were the feats of decorating, ingenuity, costume making skills are at times incredible.

The Public Works Department took home the coveted Stone Soup Award in a squealer over a couple of other departments. Public Works Director Jeff Crovitz…took home top costume honors with his portrayal of Rubeus Hagrid. The Assessors office took home Best Group Costume honors. Best Office Decorations went to the Clerks Office. Best Building Decoration went to the Human Resources Department. Best Group Performance went to the Health & Human Services Department. Most Impressive Award went to the Auditor and Controller’s Office. The Most Energetic Award went to Behavioral Health.

It was an impressive display today!!!
