As a young man he had a 1958 Chevy and was very proud of it with all the glass packs and bragged about how he beat all the competition.

His old players still call him Coach to this day.  Kids, family and friends could often be found at the DeVoss house hanging out and swimming in the pool.  He loved to cook Chicken-in-the barrel and dedicated a lot of his time to the community.

He and his daughters were active in raising horses and showing in competitions and were members of the 17 Fillies and the Calaveras Saddle Club.  Bobby even showed his own horse at a few Calaveras Saddle Club shows and did well.

Bobby met his soulmate, best friend, and love of his life Hazel Einarsson in 2008 while playing cards at the Senior Center.  Later he finally nervously asked her out on a date and married her on August 20, 2011 at their Beautiful home in the country in San Andreas, CA.  Bobby loved to play cards and tell tall-tails.  He was a joking and happy guy everyone always laughed and had a great time around him.

Bobby could always be found in his garden and was renowned for his green thumb and immaculate garden.  He also loved Fishing, Hunting, Camping, telling stories, Family, watching his Grandson play professional Baseball, playing with his Great-Grand Children, and Just hanging with his wife Hazel on the patio and the ranch.
