Murphys, CA…The Day of the Dead is a rain or shine event. We have had a lot of interest from visitors despite the prediction of lots of rain. Entertainment, vendors and food will be moving to the Native Sons Hall from the Park and the Procession to the Cemetery has been cancelled but, the show will go on. Get your ofrendas and decorations ready! Visitors may stop by to see us in the Native Sons Hall to pick up a printed program and ofrenda guide, get their faces painted, purchase raffle tickets, grab a tamale or see the dancers and musicians. Weather allowing, the miniature donkeys will be on site and ready to have their pictures taken. You’ll even be able to register to vote!
