Douglas Flat, CA…Sad notifications are still underway and complete details may not be released until Monday. If they come in over the weekend we will get them up and running. What can be confirmed at this time from the Calaveras Coroner’s office is that a Mother and Daughter did perish last night on Hwy 4 near Holiday Mine Road. The call came at 6:01pm and the roadway was shutdown for and extended period of time. Heartbreaking news as to lose loved ones anytime is horrible but on Thanksgiving it is unthinkable.
