San Andreas, CA…PUBLIC NOTICE ROAD NAME CHANGE Board of Supervisors has received a request from the County Department of Public Works and Geographical Information Systems (GIS) to change the name of two County Maintained roads:

* Road No. – CURRENT NAME – PROPOSED NAME – PARCLES AFFECTED
* 404 – Dam Rd./Old Powerhouse Rd. – Dam Road – 6 of 10 parcels are addressed to Old Powerhouse Rd.
* 812 – Portion of Manuel Rd. South of State Route 4 – Old Firehouse Rd. – 1 parcel addressed to Manuel Rd.

Pursuant to Section 970.5 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Calaveras will, at their regular meeting in the Courts and Legal Building of the Government Center, San Andreas, California, at the hour of 9:00 a.m., (or shortly thereafter) on the 5th of December, 2017, conduct a Public Hearing at which time evidence will be heard regarding the proposed name changes.
