Groveland, CA…Deputies have been on scene investigating an armed robbery that occurred at Yosemite Bank on Main St. in Groveland this afternoon around 2:40. The man entered the bank with a small handgun and demanded money. He is described as a young white adult man wearing a black parka jacket, light colored cargo type pants (Khaki) with low pockets, a beanie hat with a neon green stripe, dark sunglasses and was carrying a silver colored backpack.

The suspect was last seen on foot running towards Deer Flat Road. Bank surveillance photo of the suspect is attached. There were 5 bank employees and 1 customer inside during the robbery.

Helicopter H40 is assisting with the search efforts.
