Sonora, CA…From the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Dept…On Monday afternoon, Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a home on Harmony Lane in Sonora for a welfare check after the occupants had not been heard from for a few days. Deputies discovered two people inside the home who suffered fatal gunshot wounds. A preliminary investigation suggests a murder-suicide occurred.

The names of the deceased are not being released as of yet pending positive identification.
