Valley Springs, CA…On 12-7-17 members of the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office Marijuana Enforcement Team served a search warrant for an illegal unregistered indoor marijuana grow at a residence in the 10000 block of Milton Road, Valley Springs. This operation was an independent investigation from the other indoor marijuana grow seized earlier in the day. Upon arrival, deputies found the entire house had been converted for marijuana cultivation.
2,025 marijuana plants were seized and one subject arrested. The plants varied in size from small seedlings to tall mature marijuana plants.

Sian Huang (age 28) was arrested for 11358(c)H&S-illegal marijuana cultivation and 11366H&S-maintaining a place for the purpose of unlawfully selling, giving away, or using any controlled substance (commonly known as “operating a drug house”). Huang spoke with broken English and although listed his address at the Milton Road house, he had a New York Identification card in his possession. He was booked into the Calaveras County Jail with $30,000 bail.
