Jamestown, CA…From the Tuolumne Sheriff’s Department….On Monday evening, deputies responded to Jamestown Terrace Apartments on Preston Lane for a reported assault that turned out to be much more. Deputies contacted 38-year-old Raymond Wine outside of his apartment near the laundry room at the complex. He was undressing himself and acting bizarre.

An investigation was conducted and as a result, Wine was arrested for sexual battery and attempted rape after he groped a woman and tried to force himself on her.

Wine was booked into the Tuolumne County Jail for attempted rape and sexual battery.
