Bear Valley, CA…Based on current conditions and weather outlook, our operations team has determined that we will not be able to open lifts/trails for this weekend, December 16th and 17th. At this time, we continue to make snow and crossing our fingers that we continue to get longer periods of cold temps for ideal snowmaking conditions.
Dare we say it out loud? The forecast is starting to show signs of a change over the next 10-15 days but too far out to make any predictions or definitively make a call on our opening day. Like you, we will have an eye on the doppler, and keep the faith in Mother Nature to send snowy skies our way. We will continue to keep this page updated, send messages through our news and social media platforms.
We are all about PURE MOUNTAIN FUN, so naturally, we have plans beginning this weekend:
December 16th – BVLive kicks off with live music at Sky High at 8pm.
Dec 23rd – New Years Eve – PMF every day! We have plans for live music, family activities, Santa visits, cookies, movies and more. Sign up for our newsletter or keep checking the events page.
We are looking forward to turning lifts soon and will update early next week.
Please start your best snow dance and THINK SNOW with us! We are anxious to get the slopes open.
