Introduction to Gardening in the Foothills

Jackson, CA…New to gardening in the foothills? Or are you interested in trying something different in your home garden and landscape? Home gardening in the local foothills can be challenging. Pick up great tips on meeting those garden challenges at the Public Education class, “Introduction to Gardening in the Foothills” presented by the UCCE Master Gardeners of Amador County on Saturday, January 20, 2018. Information and methods of assessing your growing area, proper plant selection as well as proper planting techniques will be discussed and demonstrated. Handouts will be available. The class is free and open to the public. No reservations are required. All classes are held in the GSA building at 12200-B Airport Rd, Jackson from 9am to Noon.
