Arnold, CA…James (Jim) F Lantry born in San Francisco, CA., on January 11th, 1932, passed away at home in Antioch, CA., on January 4th, 2018. Survived by his wife of 59 years Connie Lantry, his daughter Kassie Perkins of Antioch, CA., his granddaughter Cassandra Perkins of Roseville, CA. Preceded in death in 2015 by his son Michael W Lantry of Concord, CA.
Following retirement, Jim and Connie moved from Concord and spent 23 years living in Arnold. Jim enjoyed 18 years as a volunteer for the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Department. Jim was an active member of the Blue Lake Springs Homeowners Association, Arnold SIRS, a member of Our Lady of the Sierra. Jim served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He and Connie enjoyed traveling, especially winter visits to Maui. Jim was known for many things, particularly his outgoing, humorous personality. Family would appreciate donations to Alzheimer’s Foundation.
