Bear Valley Winter Explosion is this Weekend! Fun-Filled Weekend Includes Fireworks, Torchlight Parade, Music & Activities for the Entire Family

Bear Valley, CA…January 12, 2018 – Bear Valley has an exciting schedule of events this weekend to celebrates its annual Winter Explosion. The lineup includes a full day of family fun planned at the mountain and in Bear Valley Village with activities including tubing during the day followed by a special dinner, movie, torchlight parade, fireworks show, and kids activities. There will also be live music on Sunday. The schedule is as follows (Times are approximate. Times and activities are subject to change):

Saturday, January 13:

10:00 AM – 5:00 PM: Tubing hill open – $10 available in the Guest Services/Season Pass office.
1:00 PM: Sign-Ups begin for Torch Light Parade until sold out in the Guest Services / Season Pass office.
4:00 PM – 5:00 PM: Activities for the kids in the Sun Room
Pine Cone Decorating
Children’s Face Painting
4:45 PM: Movie time with a special showing of Horton Hear’s a Who in the Sun Room
5:00 PM: Dinner service begins in Ebbetts Grill. Adults – $16 and children – $11
6:15 PM: Torch Light Parade Begins
6:30 PM: Fireworks immediately following the parade

Sunday, January 14:

· 8:30 PM — BV LIVE presents Megan Slankard at Sky High. A Native California Indie Rocker, Megan has been playing guitar since she was 10 years old and has since seen some amazing professional achievements such as opening for Jamie Cullum at a sold-out Fillmore and playing electric guitar on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
