Bear Valley, CA…Some very exciting news from Bear Valley…”It’s official. We are ready to open our new 6-pack chair and could not be more excited to share this monumental occasion with you! Make plans to join us on Saturday, Jan 13th for one last ride on Kuma chair, then get ready to take a ride to Bear Top on the Mokelumne Express on its inaugural opening day. Thanks to the 5 inches of snow that fell this week along with continued snowmaking efforts and a committed lift installation team, we are ready to go!

The Celebration

Kuma will kick off the day projected to take you to Bear Top starting at 9 am. The last ride on Kuma will occur before the christening of Mokelumne Express.

At 1 pm join us at the Mokelumne Express loading terminal for a christening ceremony to welcome this exciting new high-speed lift to the Skyline Bear Valley Family. Then be sure to stay for the fireworks and family fun planned after the lifts stop turning, Click here for more on activities. With the addition of Kuma and Mokelumne Express, we plan to operate 5 lifts as of Saturday 1/13: Kuma/Mokelumne Express, Cub and Super Cub chairs, and Panda and Lil Cub carpets. Click here for Weather
