Sonora, CA…Yesterday evening at about 7:15 p.m. SPD officers responded to a vehicle v. bicycle collision near the 600 block of Stockton Road. It was determined that a westbound 2005 Hyundai Elantra and a westbound bicycle collided resulting in non-life-threatening injuries to the bicyclist, who was treated at a local hospital.

The cause of the collision is still under investigation, however, drugs or alcohol do not appear to be a factor at this time.
