Weapons and Trespassing Arrest in Sonora

Sonora, CA…On January 22, 2018, around 4:45 a.m., Sonora Police Officer Hankins responded to the Inns of California (350 S. Washington Street) for a report of a male subject causing a disturbance. Officer Hankins arrived and received information the subject causing the disturbance was identified as Joshua Jackson Murray, 38 years old of Sonora. Officer Hankins was advised that Murray had been trespassed by management earlier that same morning and was requested to leave the property by Sonora Police Officers.

Officer Hankins located Murray on the property and placed him under arrest for trespassing. During a search of Murray, Officer Hankins located a concealed fixed blade knife on Murray’s person. Murray was transported to the Tuolumne County Jail and booked for trespassing and possession of a concealed dirk or dagger, a felony.
