Murphys, CA…Jack Lynn Smith, 75, of Murphys passed away peacefully on February 6th 2018 surrounded by family. He was a stubborn old man that put up one heck of a fight. He loved his family, little dog Ginger Smith and working on his dream yard. We’re sure he collected his free play in heaven and is hitting the slots! Jack is survived by his wife Sandra of Murphys; children, Conetha (Andrew) Romeo of Sonora, Monica Smith of Murphys, Benjy Smith of Angels Camp, Nicky Smith of Murphys; Brother Tommy Smith of Hollister, and Sister Karen “Cookie” Azlin of Yreka and 3 grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, tune up your car and check the air pressure in your tires- he would have wanted that.
