Jackson, CA…Last week, ACDA Investigators Gary Stevens and Ezra Peckinpaugh gave a Crime Scene Investigation presentation to over 75 Jackson Junior High students. During the two-day presentation, students learned how a crime scene can tell the story of an event, sometimes even without witnesses. They learned why we take precautions to preserve crime scenes and how we preserve everything we can to present all the facts of a case. They looked at real (non-graphic) crime scene photos, where they could see and identify things that stood out or were otherwise significant to the investigation and why. The students also got to participate in latent fingerprint exercises including collection and analysis.
Thank you Jackson Junior High!
