Bear Valley, CA…Hey Good People! Wednesday is here and the storm is right on track to deliver the goods! A partly sunny day today with SSW winds from 9-14 mph with occasional gusts into the low 20’s with a high of 31F expected. We look to pick up anywhere from 34-54″ of new snow starting later tonight through Saturday. The breakdown looks like this at the current model runs…tonight 3-5″, Thursday-10-14″, Thursday night-8-12″, Friday-5-9″, Friday night-5-9″ and 3-5″ for Saturday. Winds will be high during this event as the pressure gradient tightens so batten down the hatches as we could see values up into the 40/50mph range Thursday and Thursday night. Some closures may be in effect due to high winds. Let’s hope this sets us in motion for the lower Mtn to come online soon as snow elevations look to be quite low during this event. Remember, we’re about “Pure Mtn Fun” so come check us out this Winter !!!!! stay tuned…..
