59 Year Old Stabs 50 Year Old In Argument Over A Woman

Jamestown, CA… On 6/9/15 about 5:48 P.M. Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office Deputies were dispatched to the Twin Pines Mobile Home Park on WigWam Road in Jamestown CA on a report of a stabbing. Arriving Deputies met with the 50 year old male victim. The victim was bleeding from a stab wound to the leg. The suspect had fled the area prior to the arrival of the Deputies.

The victim identified his attacker as 59 year old Frank Bell also of Jamestown. Bell and the victim are acquaintances and just prior to the incident, both were in Bell’s residence. An argument ensued over a woman. The argument turned physical and Bell brandished a knife at the victim. During the altercation the victim was stabbed in the leg.

The victim was transported by ambulance to Sonora Regional Medical Center for treatment of the wound which was determined to be non-life threatening.

245(A)(1) P.C. Assault with a Deadly Weapon Felony
422 P.C. Threats Felony
11377(A) H.S. Code Misdemeanor

The suspect, Frank Bell, voluntarily returned to the scene of the incident about 7:45 PM and met with Deputies. He was then taken into custody of the above listed charges. Mr. Bell was booked into the Tuolumne County Jail. As of 6/10/15 he is still in custody and bail was set at 40,000.00 dollars (forty thousand dollars)
