Alpine County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is postponing today’s full highway closure of State Route 4(SR-4)/Ebbetts Pass from Highland Lake Road to SR-89/Monitor Pass for pavement work. The closure will occur on Thursday, June 11, 2015, from 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Motorists will need to take alternate routes and should expect an hour delay.

The closure is scheduled to begin as listed, but are subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment and/ or materials and construction related issues.
