Bear Valley, CA…Hey Good People! The current approaching system has slowed a bit and last nights snowfall potential has shifted to Friday. The high today looks to be around 39F with breezy conditions as a SW wind will range from 16-25mph with gusts as high as 38mph. Warmer temps are in the mix for the next handful of days so we will see a higher snowfall level than we did for the last system. Light snowfall will be associated with this system through the weekend. These systems will bring scattered snow shower activity with only a few inches of snow expected during the next 2-3days as moisture aloft is low. Next week looks to be more active with snow and colder temps so stay tuned as model agreements are still a little conflicting. We are continuing to open more terrain as the recent storm cycle gave us the snow we all need here in Central/NorCal. Remember to ride safe, respect the Code and have a great time doing it. Bear Valley offers a total of ten lifts and 75+ trails across 1680 ski-able acres and a 1900 vertical drop. These lifts include our NEW HIGH SPEED 6-pack chair lift, one high-speed quad lift, two triple chairs, four double chairs, and two conveyor carpet lifts, one exclusively dedicated to the Cub Club Children’s Learning Center. 25% of our trails are beginner difficulty, 40% are intermediate and 35% are advanced or higher.

Hours of operation:

Weather & conditions permitting, the first chair starts turning at 9am, last chair 4 pm daily.

Back-side or Bear West typically closes at 330pm

Guest Services open at 830am mid-week, non-holiday and 8am on weekends and holidays

Note: certain trails or lifts may close when conditions do not permit safe operation.
