Angels Camp, March 7, 2018 – The Angels Camp Business Association will host a grand opening at Yummy Ha! Ha! Ice Cream, 1225 S. Main Street, Historic Downtown Angels Camp, Wednesday, March 14th from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. with a ribbon cutting at 5 p.m. Brothers and Co-Owners, Valentino and Peter Curry are excited to expand their business and bring Yummy Ha! Ha!’s delicious handmade ice cream to Angels Camp.
After many years in the Information Technology Industry and living in Oakland, Valentino and his family decided to move to Calaveras County where Valentino was able to carry out his vision and open an ice cream shop featuring handmade ice cream three years ago in the Copperopolis Town Square. After a few successful years Valentino was ready to expand and called upon his brother, who also worked in the IT Industry to see if he was interested in running a second ice cream shop. Being ready for a change, Peter accepted the opportunity and enjoys learning the process of making ice cream and running a business. “There is always something to be done,” explained Curry.
“We are excited that Valentino and Peter decided to open in Historic Downtown Angels Camp and to have ice cream available for residents and visitors to enjoy,” said Dwayne Garcia, President of Angels Camp Business Association. “Grand Openings are a service ACBA is pleased to provide to the Angels Camp business community.”
Valentino and Peter are currently revamping the patio behind the ice cream shop and have plans to offer music and plays in the future. The patio is also available to reserve for private parties, family gatherings and business get togethers.
They will be offering samples of their ice cream during their open house. Scoops, shakes and sundaes will also be available for purchase.
