Sonora, CA…On 03-18-18, just before 12:22 AM, Sonora Police Department Officers responded to the area of Theall and South Washington for a report of a domestic violence incident. Officers located the involved parties near the Office Bar (155 S. Washington Street).

Through their investigation, officers determined that Solomon Ray Storment, age 32 of Sonora, choked his wife during an argument and shoved her backward into a rock wall, leaving an injury to the back of her head. She also sustained other minor injuries from the altercation. The victim declined medical assistance at the scene.

Officer Brandow arrested Storment for felony domestic battery with injury and booked into the Tuolumne County Jail.
