Angels Camp, CA…On June 16, 2015 at approximately 11:55 AM units from the Angels Camp Fire Department, Altaville Melones Fire Protection District, San Andreas Fire Protection District, and CalFire were dispatched to a reported structure fire in the 500 block of Sultana Lane.

Units arrived on scene to find a single family residence that was 75% engulfed in flames. The resident was able to exit the residence unharmed and received assistance from Volunteers from the Red Cross.

Firefighters confined the fire to the residence with no extension to the surrounding vegetation or out buildings. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
