San Andreas, CA…COMMUNITY MEMBER WANTED to serve as a Volunteer voting member of the Mark Twain Health Care District Finance Committee. The community member shall collaborate and assist the Finance Committee and staff with financial evaluations and decisions.

QUALIFICATIONS include – be a Calaveras resident; minimum of a BA degree in business, finance or an accounting related field; attend monthly meetings; experience with accounting programs and smartphone capability; and good written and verbal communication skills.

This position will have a 3-year term with option for re-appointment to a 2nd term.

The Mark Twain Health Care District (MTHCD) is a public agency that owns the buildings and grounds of the Mark Twain Medical Center; MTHCD leases the operations of the Medical Center to the Mark Twain Medical Center Corporation, which also operates the five rural health clinics (Family Medical Centers) in Arnold, Angels Camp, Copperopolis, San Andreas, and Valley Springs.
