Tuolumne, CA…From the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Dept…”Look at the huge smiles on the faces of these kids! First dirt was turned for the Big Dreams Park and Playground in Tuolumne. Nearly $340,000 has been raised over the last five years to turn this project into reality. Around $20,000 for this project was raised at the Sonora Sunrise Rotary Club’s Celebrity Dinner at the Black Oak Casino Resort. The playground will be constructed next to the Tuolumne Memorial Hall and it will replace the existing park making it accessible for residents of all ages and disabilities.

This project is relying heavily on volunteer labor and is projected to be completed in September of this year.”
