Angels Camp, CA….(Frogtwon, USA)…This year the Calaveras County Fair & Jumping Frog Jubilee is May 17-20. Last night Mark Twain Hall at Frogtown played host to the annual fair kick-off dinner. It is a great event every year that is filled with awards for those who help keep the fair and frog jump thriving and viable. It is also time for the next generations of local youth and even an exchange student from China to introduce themselves and even kiss a few frogs.

 

The Calaveras County Fairgrounds is the 39th District Agricultural Association. We are an agency of the Division of Fairs & Expositions, Department of Food & Agriculture. The DAA is governed by an appointed board of directors.
