Angels Camp, CA…Joanie Cooke, 74, passed away peacefully in her home on June 5, 2015 after a long illness. Joanie was born in Martinez, California to Patricia and Clarence Clinkscale. Though Joanie was a long-time resident of Concord, CA she resided in Angels Camp the last seven years of her life.

Joanie is survived by her life partner of 30 years, Bart Yool of Walnut Creek; her sons Mark (Lydia), Matthew, and Kevin Reid; grandchildren Krista Meadows, Alyssa and Jack Reid, and Alicia Darby; and great-grandchild Atticus Darby. She also leaves her sister Patricia Oberlies, three nieces, a nephew, one great-niece, and two great-nephews.
