Angels Camp, CA…Today, the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office received a report that staff at the Calaveras County Office of Education (CCOE) received a generalized emailed bomb threat. The Sheriff’s Office is conducting an investigation into the email threat that did not mention a specific school or school district. The Angels Camp Police Department is aware of the email, and while we do not consider this a credible threat, as a precautionary measure there will be an increased police presence on our school campuses.
