Frogtown, USA…(Angels Camp, CA)…On May 9th at 8PM, volunteers from the Frog Jump Committee will be interviewed for the third consecutive year on KFBK’s popular Pat Walsh radio show. Bill Proctor and Bob Lema from the committee will discuss the Frog Jump’s 90th Anniversary Birthday Party and Bill’s recollections of tactics and psych-ops he employed to win seven Frog Jumps over the years. Also discussed will be the great “Going Frog Wild” Calaveras County Fair, and the dedication of this year’s Fair and Frog Jump to the “Calaveras Frog Jockeys”, whose original member families have won over a half dozen Frog Jumps.
Other topics will likely include the many special jumps and visits to schools now occurring by the Frog Jump Committee prior to the Fair, and how listeners can rent a frog or form a team to jump at the 90th Anniversary Jumping Frog Jubilee. The 2018 Fair and Frog Jump are from May 17 to May 20 at the Calaveras County Fairgrounds, aka Frogtown.
Be sure to tune in to KFBK at 1530AM, May 9th at 8PM. The interview will be live during the 8PM to 9PM hour.
