San Andreas, CA…Jeff Crovitz, PE, submitted his letter of resignation and intent to retire from his position as Calaveras County Department of Public Works Director. Mr. Crovitz has served during turbulent times in the wake of the Butte Fire, Tree Mortality & 2017 Storm Damage. It was reported out of closed session at today’s board meeting that he intends to retire and his last day with the county will be June 2nd.
