Dr. James Brennan, Urologist and Calaveras Veterans Services staff to speak at Mark Twain Medical Center

San Andreas, CA…Mark Twain Medical Center is pleased to share that Urologist Dr. James Brennan will be speaking at a FREE workshop about Kidney Stones; prevention and treatment options are the topic of a free workshop on May 31st at Mark Twain Medical Center. In addition to this presentation, staff from the Calaveras Veterans Services will be sharing information on services that are available to our local Veteran population.

“I am looking forward to explaining how the Veterans Administration Health Care system really works,
stated Chele Beretz. “Our Purpose is to provide advocacy to the veteran community regarding entitlement to federal, state and local benefits. We know that there are numerous local veterans that are not aware of all of the services that they may be eligible for. Our staff wants to reach those individuals and encourage them to attend this event.”
“In my practice on the hospital campus, commented Dr. James Brennan, “I routinely see patients that could have benefited from some of the prevention and treatment options that are available to individuals that have been diagnosed with kidney stones, or may be at risk for developing them in the future. I am looking forward to sharing this information, and providing education to the public on May 31st.”
These presentations are a part of MTMC’s ongoing series of “A Plan 4 Me” free planning workshops.

The FREE workshop is from 10 a. m. to noon on May 31st at Mark Twain Medical Center. Lunch will be provided at the conclusion of the event. There is limited seating. Call 754-5919 for reservations and information.
