Hospital Seeks Volunteers to Support Gift Shop

San Andreas, CA…Mark Twain Medical Center Foundation is seeking high energy volunteers to assist in the Hospital Gift Shop. Gift shop volunteers assist in daily operations, run the register, open and close, inventory, restocking and customer service. Volunteers must commit to a minimum of 4 hours per week.

The “Gifts of Love” hospital gift shop is privately owned but benefits the Mark Twain Medical Center Foundation’s Scholarship Program. In the 2018 Academic Year, the MTMC Foundation Hospital Volunteers gave out $6,500 in scholarships to local students at Calaveras High School, Brett Harte High School and Mountain Oaks High School. In addition to the gift shop, hospital volunteers raise funds through bake sales, craft sales and an annual quilt raffle.
