San Andreas, CA…This weekend we have seen the first of the lower elevation vegetation fires that required extensive resource dispatches to keep them from getting up a head of steam. Earlier there was a vegetation fire in the Don Pedro area and this afternoon there was a fire in the Burson area. We are probably only a few days away from our first 100 plus acre grass fire at lower elevations that at least signal to those in the news business it’s time to break out the scanners and start fire season slog till November.
