Angels Camp, CA…Alberta Francis Castle Drace, March 22, 1932-May 27-2018. Alberta (Cry)Frances Castle Drace 86 passed away Sunday May 27 in Modesto. She was born in Angels Camp to Guy and Dorthey Castle. She graduated from Bret Harte High School. Alberta worked as a waitress for over 40 years in Sonora. Many will remember her at the old Europa Cafe on Washington Street on the morning shift during the 60’s and 70’s. In her younger years she loved bowling and playing softball. Her sons remember her cooking for all the neighborhood kids.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband James Drace, son Larry Basacker, brothers Tommy and Howard Castle. She is survived by her three sons Brian and his wife Sue Basacker, Rick and his wife Teresa Basacker, Tom and his wife Susan Wood. Three step children Susan Keller, Ginny, Madill and Jim (Cricket) Drace. A sister Mary Ann Buser and her husband Don. Eight grandchildren, seven greatgrandchildren, and one great great grandchild.

Instead of Flowers the Family Request that all memorials be made to the Tuolumne County Humane Society. Angels Memorial Chapel is handling all arrangements.
