San Andreas, CA…The Calaveras County Office of Emergency Services (OES) is pleased to announce construction on Butte Fire roads began today in collaboration with Calaveras County Department of Public Works. Road work will commence on West Murray Road, Cave City Road, Whiskey Slide, Michel Road, Potteroff Road, Baker Riley, Old Gulch Road, Doster Road, Worden, Hawver Road and Ponderosa Way.

Construction will continue through the summer. Additionally, OES staff will be out with Public Works staff continuing to mark sections of road that have been identified as part of the Butte Fire roads project.

We anticipate there will be some traffic delays as these projects progress. We ask for the community’s patience during this time. Please drive safely through constructions zones.
