Groveland, CA…On Friday, July 6, 2018 at approximately 5:00 am, 38 year old Groveland resident, Reyna Dolores Moreno, was driving her 2004 Honda Accord. Moreno was backing her vehicle out of a private driveway on Alice Lane north of State Route 120. Due to her high level of alcohol intoxication, she allowed her vehicle to travel off of the driveway edge onto a steep soft dirt embankment.

Moreno attempted to drive the vehicle back onto the driveway with no success. The vehicle’s front tires dug themselves into a hole. Moreno called a local tow company who then alerted CHP Dispatch of the incident. The responding CHP Officer determined Moreno was under the influence of alcohol. She was placed her under arrest and was subsequently booked into the Tuolumne County Jail.
